Default Gas milage

My tank will be almost empty, and I fill it up. But it only takes 5 gallons to fill it up. What's up with that? Any help please. Also where could I pick up a new gas tank in case I need it. Thanks in advance.

It sounds like your gas gauge is not accurate.

Mine seems pretty innaccurate, so I just fill up at 260-280 miles.

before buying a new cluster..see if you can mess with the float..take it out the tank and move it to both directions and see if your gas needle moves accordingly. if not, then yeah change the cluster. same thing happened to me..except my needle stayed at above full. i checked the float first..doesnt hurt and its free.
