Default Car wouldnt accelerate

I was driving and at about 40mph and suddenly some stupid lady cut in front of me. so i had to brake hard. after that i couldnt accelerate or brake, i even pulled the e-brake, but it didnt have any effect either. The check oil light came on and i had to move to the shoulder and restart my car. after restarting it, it worked fine. Does anyone know why this would happen...1991 Honda Accord EX F22A1 motor.

UR Break pads are Extremly hot, so it takes about 10-12 seconds to cool down, or maybe to much oil pressure to ur breaks im not sure...

You read my mind. I doubt that your breaks would have overheated that quickly too. But hey, you never know. Sorry I don't have an answer for you. I have hit my brakes hard at 80 slowing rapidly almost 35 mph and my brakes didn't overheat, so I don't think thats it. GL. I wanna know where he got oil pressure to the brakes from though....
