Default any info on PGM-FI

as you can tell in a newbie and i wont try to hide that at all, i just came to the import scene, got myself a 87 honda accord LXi, nothing special but w/e right, like the scene, like where its going, wanna be apart of it, now my car has the A20A3, EFI, SOHC 12-valve motor, now iv kinda heard a rumor that with a little computer work you can bump up the power on these motors cause of the PGM-FI, any info on this or things i should watch out for with this car would be very helpful, thanxs for your time and sorry for the newbie question

Unfortunately there's very little info on the ecu in your car. There is also very little point unless you have done a lot of work to the motor. And those aren't the usual motors to make power with. My advice would be to drive what you have and save those pennies until you can get a civic of your choosing, if you want to go that route. I have heard of people making power out of those motors however. I believe there was some head swap info covered somewhere. Good luck with whatever you do, and read everything you can on hondas and making horsepower, but apply your own judgement.
