LS/VTEC COMPRESSION TEST AFTER REBUILD
WELL AFTER MY VERY SUCESSFULL engine rebuild i am in the middle of breaking it in. i am at 614miles and decided to do a compreesion test.. well i have a 96 b18b1 block and a 99 si vtec head acl bearing and ARp studs. well the test resulted in 210 all across the board.. my question is is this normal?? and does this mean my engine is broken in???
i am still going to run it till 1000 miles and then change out to synthetic oil (molbil 1, baBY)

Thats interesting. I would like to see compression and leakdown tests on a motor that was broken in with the "drive it like you're going to drive it" method. Unless this exists because I haven't searched yet...
I broke in my 9:1 motor very hard for the first 250 miles. I have 190psi across all cylinders +-5. Im very happy with how it turned out.
