Default HID's on Civic

Hey,

I was curioust to know what exactly i need to get HID's on my civic.
I am looking at purchasing a kit off of Ebay.com for $230US.
They include the whole harness and everything and they are an 8,000K kit.

This is the kit i am thinking of getting:

Those of you who have maybe gotten a conversion done, any tips?
Any gooooood brands i should go with?
Any cheaper sources than that?
Gimme all you got

Thanks

-Paul

Yep, the HID thread is a lifesaver, imagine that!

And casper sheilds and removing the diffusers don't hurt either.

You need to read this thread thoroughly before you buy any HID kit:

I wouldn't go that far. A thread on how to make your lights brighter != the best thing to come out of one of the largest technical forums for our cars on the internet.

Yeah, but you don't NEED to read ALL the responses as well. Just read the technical stuff at the beginning of the thread, duh.

ill_take_one should still be able to help you since his brother did a conversion with the '99-'00 headlights, retrofitting 7-series bmw projectors in to the stock housings... i know because i bought them

You don't need anything...you buy the kit and you install it...simple as that to answer your question. Even the Ebay auction says you don't need anything else. Any other technical information you need just do a search like everyone else is saying on here.
