are there two O2 sensors on the D16Z7. gotta a friend with an LX that just had a 98 ex engine put into his car. looked up the specs of the 98 ex and it says it comes with a D16Z7 motor. guessing because its OBD2 maybe thats the reason for the 2 O2 sensors?

 

Never heard of a Z7...

The '96-'00 LX/DXs came with a D16Y7, nonVTEC...

ok found it, its D16Y8 and is obd2, question is if the header has only the secondary O2 sensor mount that is under the engine, were would we fabricate a hole to mount the primary O2 sensor. its for a DC sport 4:2:1 one piece header.

 

You can drill a hole and tap it for another o2 sensor, I think another way is to wire the first o2 to the second so it will not throw a CEL but I think the car might not run right cause it reads the difference between the 2 sensors.

 

wear would the hole need to be drilled?? looking at the pic from dcsports.com
