Damnit. I hate questions like this! Why the hell would you put a small *** motor in a heavy *** car for? Do some research before you ask questions like this.

yes, its possible, but because the b-series are really lacking in torque for the accord application, it probably hasnt been done often, which means things like motor mounts, custom wiring harnesses, etc. will have to be made by you

well what motor are you starting with (currently have)... if its less than a b18 then it would be an upgrade...otherwise why?

damn didnt know accord owners can be ruthless<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by HAccord96 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Damnit. Exactly....research

The simple concept of putting in a smaller motor with less tq in a heavier car; if you actually stop and think about it, it makes no sense what so ever.

what exactly is less than a b18? because any b-series is less than an f-series when it comes to accords, because they lack the torque necessary to move all that weight.

ruthless? man, that question gets asked in here every week, and it always the same excuse.. "oh, it's not for me... it's for my friend's car".

want an example?

i would laugh out loud if someone popped the hood of an accord and there was a b series motor in it

in all seriousness, a few years ago, someone did swap a b18c1 into a 94 accord, with a generic intake, crap DC header and catback it ran a 15.9

yay!

yea...not really....talk to the guy who actually has the swap on here....major problems with motor mounts....and the car still is heavier than an integra/ civic........4th/5th gen h22 &gt; 3rd gen b18c (even though the 3rd gen hatch looks omfg sexy)

well seeing as a 3rd gen accord hatch weighs about the same as a integra type-r...and thats a weight with an ALL iron block 2.0 rather than the aluminum blocked b18c5 i dont see why it wouldnt be a quick car.
the teg type-r usually weighs in at 2600 lbs while the accord hatch in 1989 weighed abotu 2600 lbs also....
