Default ANR header, Differences???? Help!

I had a ANR header on my last crx, the compact version. It was recently bent in an accident. I bought the header second hand through someone on this site. He had it for a GSR. I run a GSR in my CRX.

Now, i recently bought a NEW ANR header , second hand as well, through a person on HT, nice guy with plenty of vouches. Now, i tried to install it today an its hitting the bottom of my block by the oil pan. Also, the flange is warped, i put a mechanics str8 edge on it, an its a good .24 of an inch warped. so now i have to get it machined flat.

Did ANR make different headers for the B16, GSR based on the deck heights? I am thinking the reason why its hitting my block is maybe its for a B16? Also, anyone else have issues with the flanges being warped. The new header was BRAND NEW never used so it couldnt have warped from being used. any help is appreciated. thanks

AN-R headers are hand made, so they will differ from one to the next.

At one point, I had two of them, and one cleared my fluidyne radiator, and the other one didn't.

i know the guy he bought this from and it was purchased for a GSR, so AN-R must have made the mistake. we never even attempted to put it on the car. decided to sell the car and the accumulated parts laying around. sorry to hear about your troubles VtecKiDD, i hope things work out for you.

also, when an-r ships the header it comes in two pieces to save on shipping costs. The bottom part must be welded on and there is plenty of adjustment as far as angle goes. Maybe it was welded on at a poor angle.

lohatch,
an-r headers are made on the engine they are ordered for, not a jig so there is no way that it was a mistake.

yeah i spoke with Jordan via email. He was an awesome seller an i have no issues with him. He in no way tried to scam me, it was just a few issues, this is the second ANR i have owned an i realize hand made stuff will vary. Its all minor stuff, i wanted to just know if there was a difference between the B 16 an GSR. I spoke at length with SNAIL EG last night, an it will take some small modification but it willwork. thanks for the info guys!
