ECU question

Default ECU question

I have a b16a2 USDM with a p2t ecu... does anyone know where i can get a chip for it? will a different ecu work with this engine?

there are severral ecus taht will work with that engine, is it OBD2 or OBD1???

im not 100% sure... i bought the car with the swap but i think it's OBD1... the car is a 97 civic ex

if you want the good **** then get a hondata, if not then go to ebay and buy your self a have *** chip for 20bucks

get a hondata that would be best, or the aem one that comnes with a laptop but thats 1500

The engine and the car are both OBD2, so it wouldn't make sense to convert anything to OBD1.

And btw, I I haven't ever heard anything bad about Hondata. That's probably what I am going to get.

I would say Motec M48 or Hondata are best 4 you

oh didn't pay attention to what motor they swapped in. anyways, hondata is the shiz.
