i was wondering if anyone here or knows someone running this turbo?tried search could not find any info. just want to know hp numbers.

 

lets put it this way , turbodcx has a d16 turbo that made 502whp with that turbo.

my AEBS y8 block is 75mm stock bore and i hope only to make 400whp , when i saw his post i wanted to jerk it!

haha thats damn funny! you guys are defianetly putting together some amazing d series stats, and showing many people that the sohc has very much potential

 

just as much as a b series if done right. 500whp is ******* insane on any motor , but out of 75mm bore is just beautiful....

i love d series motors they put out great tq too....

Isn't that just a T3/60-1? Or, am I mistaken. I think Courtney Green has done over 500whp on a SOHC w/ the 60-1.

 

If it was a 60-1 it would be called 60-1, dont u agree. Its a normal t3, .63/.82 hotside, with gt35 wheels and gt40 compressor housing, hence the name t3/gt40 blowzilla. I will be running this turbo on my built ls/vtec so we'll see how good it really works......

I run one on my D16 as well. The only reason I ran it over the SC61 is because I could get the turbine wheel in a stage 3, rather than the stage 5 that the SC61 comes with. About 500rpm sooner spool than the SC61 on my 1.6L single cam.

Any surging issues with this turbo?

 

I do on my LS setup. Still used stock unported ls head and made 500 whp and 410 torque to the wheels at 26 psi. We are shooting for 590-610 with my vtec head setup for this or next season. Great turbo and has amazing spool for a journal turbo.

 

I have it for my Supra.
Its basically an SC61 with a diff turbine wheel from what I understand
