Default quick question

how do you guys wash your helmet if the inner lining is not removeable? just use a damp towel and scrub? or is it ok to submerge the entire helmet under water?

I've never washed my helmet yet but assuming that all helmets are water proof I think that would be the way to go. But then again, I'm a n00b with bikes and such.

I took my Arai Quantum/f in the shower. Put some soap in, rub it around, and rinse with warm/cold water. Towel/napkin dry as much as you can and let it air dry for around a day or two.

If you do decide to rinse/soak the helmet, let it air dry normally (ie, don't leave the helmet upside down). Don't know why, but every helmet-care manual I've read says this.

a little too late for that.... i put both helmets upside down for about 3 hours. and i just used a hair dryer for about 10 minutes on each one. neither of them are completely dry though. i'll just let it sit for another couple hours and hope all is well.
