knock sensor, ignition output codes are on..
tryin to figure out wut to do..

got a jdm gsr longblock with USDM ITR tranny in my eh3 si..
also, when i didn't have the stock exhaust hooked up, (runnin open header)
i can hear my v-tec loud and feel it also.
now, not sure why but i can hardly feel it at like close to 6000.
isn't it suppose to kick in at like 4700 and secondary opens up at 5700?
can a knock sensor put my motor in a limp mode?
i don't think so but.. any ideas or comments will help.

Knock sensor won't put it into limp mode. Didn't for me anyway.

 

knock sensor code will automatically retard the timing a couple of degrees

yo 92eh3si i know this is off topic but it won't let me reply in the classified section. i want to buy your d16 i wanna know what comes with it, what cond. tranny is in, and how much shipped to 55412 in minneapolis mn. im lookin to spend 450-550 on motor hit me back

 

just as he said, if knock sensor isn't working, the computer defaults to "retard the timing 4 degrees" to prevent detonation.

i want $600 with a/c for my d16z6.. it is a complete swap except p28.
it comes wit everythin.. motor is in great condition and good compression all around 4 cylinders. I am not sure about the shippin price to 55412..
