Use the stock LS pistons if you are gonna do that. Gs-r pistons will yield higher than a 10:1 compression.

Stroking is always good, but you may want to lower the redline with all that boost and stroke. That's some stress on the poor thing, you know... But if you want 10 or 11 pounds, you'll hear from everyone and their mom that forged is the safest way to go. Stock LS rods and LS pistons (don't run GSR pistons, Sack got it right) should be ok that high, but you'll probably want to dish for the extra boost.

It's all good, whatever you want. But you need to have the oil squirters removed or bent (I think you can bend those little ******) for the LS crank. And you should know, LS rods with an LS crank. GSR pistons fit LS rods, but LS pistons will get you lower compression. Whatever floats your boat, dude...

crank may hit the squirters, but you would have to lay crank into block and see how much they will hit. You can bend them to clear crank throws....its been done before.

using a ls crank with your p72 pistons will give you a compression increase of about .2 , so it would be around 10.2

if you use pr4's comp. will be around 9.7 ish
