Default Hondata

Searched, Still a little confused, gonna jrscharge my 98, but as for now it needs tuning and before I go and get it dynoed/tuned I'm wondering if i should get hondata s100, or s200, I have cai, skunk2 exhaust, and aem pullies. On the website it says 295$$ what is the complete price I am looking for all those goods.

I saw in a search that I would have to convert my obdII into obdI if i want FI and hondata which will not pass smoke, and I live in Cali and they like shafting ricers. graci

you need an s200, but you don't need the boost option unless you'll be boosting, which you won't with the mods you stated. If you are a 97+ lude then you will also have to buy an OBD1 computer, like a P28 ecu, and you'll also have to buy a OBD2A-OBD1 conversion harness. you could probably get the ecu for $120-200, and the harness is another $100. you're looking to spend a good 500-600 for all this. you could buy a p28 from Hondata that already has the conversion built in, but i think it's pretty expensive from them. good luck.

the JSRC kit should come with a CARB exempt sticker. It should also come with its own engine management (dunno how that thing is)

oh, i didn't see that you were putting a JRSC on there. For now, the regular S200 is ok, but i wouldn't waste the money on tuning it N/A if you are about to go FI. In that case you will need an S200 w/boost.
