OT: Nail in my tire... what to do???
I know this topic is not related to Type R's but I posted it in this forum b/c the R owners on HT seem to have more knowledge and a more mature prospective on things than most other forums on this board.
Just washed my car and found a nail stuck in my rear passenger side tire (Yoko. Parada).
It doesn't appear to be losing any pressure but then again I don't know how long the nail has been there. Any suggestions on what I should do? Is there a tire repair kit that actually works? Any help you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated.
And to the Moderators... please don't move this post to a forum where I will get uneducated responses. The maturity of this forum keeps this board alive! Thank you.

Thanks for the help guys. I kinda was jumping to conclusions in my mind, thinking that I would have to buy a new tire.
Sackdz... Discount Tire will repair ANY tire for free, even if you didn't purchase it from them? Sounds too good to be true but I've got my fingers crossed. I'll call them tomorrow. Thanks again!

Well, I think their policy is to repair any tire for free that you buy from them. I never bought my tires there, but they still do it, and I've never been asked for an invoice or anything........
This won't help you much, but there's this local tire place where I live that does tire patches...they remove the tire, grind smooth the damage section from inside the tire, patch it and re-install the tire...all for only $8 USD (dang!).
Soo cheap why bother doing it yourself.
Plugs <----booo
Patches from the inside of the tire <----yaaay
