VAFC ver.2 not tuning...
fri. night i had my car dyno tuned at the local shop. We played with the vafc for about an hour and we found out the my best X-over point was 5200 and now I am putting down 160,118 w/ b18c1-sk man, ctr cams, int, exhs,. And that was the good news. When it came down to changing the fuel incraments around it just seems like NOTHING happened... from what i've seen before the older version seemed pretty sensitive to the adjustment of incrament through the wide band.. which would budge from high 14'a across all night. I already checked the wiring diagram 3thrice, so i was wondering if there might be a recall or just somthing im not getting to...
Check the Apexi website for the latest installation instructions.
Also you may want to hook up a scan tool to your car and monitor the injector duty cycle. If it's maxed out (100%)or close to it then you may possibly have fuel system problems, clogged fuel filter, weak fuel pump, defective pressure regulator.
