Hey, I might be able to help you. If this is the same Cliff that I know of...then yes, I might be able to help you. From what I understand from my own friend's experiences, he's not trustworthy or reliable.
^ thanks, Jay, for linking me to the thread...
I don't want to get involved any more than I should be. I initially wrote a big response, but have since changed my mind.
I know Cliff. I dated him, he was my best friend for YEARS. Past tense ('was') because he owes me about $3,000 for MY car.
I recommend you take the LEGAL route. Keep up with your lawyer. The law is a powerful thing..more successful than passionate crimes (i.e. beating the **** out of someone/their car). Stop harassing him and his family. (Have you THOUGHT about why they might have moved/changed all their numbers?) Stop posting his personal information on the 'net. It's one thing to vent about something and forewarn others (although, rest assured; he won't be working on anyone else's car! I think he's learned his lesson.); it's another to post personal information (addresses/phone numbers/full & last names) for all others to see.
"Do onto others as they do to you"
"Can't squeeze blood out of a turnip"
I've heard BOTH SIDES of this story; and I've known about your particular situation even BEFORE you got your lawyer involved. And, realize, I'm in the same boat as you (you can read more at: http://www.chicagovelocity.com...pp=20). But there's a difference in dealing with a situation EFFECTIVELY and dealing with it IRRATIONALLY. I understand anger can make people irrational, but TRY and be the 'better' person.
IMO, deal with it effectively and utilize your resources.
