average cost for k swap into eg hatch???

lets say the engine is $5000 and labor is around 1000.

how much more would be needed for the parts needed for a running eg?

and is the extra $$$$ worth it compared to a jdm itr swap???

i have my hb for 500 bux with 200k miles and a blow headgasket and I bough a b18c1 for 1.000 $ and I'am trying to install it my selft

more than the car is worth. yeah its a nice engine with a lot of potential but i dont see myself paying many times more for an engine and install than the car is worth, imo.

The prices will come down, but not for awhile.

Back in the day (95-96) H22 swaps were considered prohibitively expensive.
