Blistered r-compounds after event
After running a practice today on my set of r-compounds (Kumho v700), I notice that the tires were blistered, it seems like rubber has melted and molded onto the tire. I was able to peel some of it off, but after the tire cooled down, it was nearly impossible.
1) Is this normal?
2) Will it affect performance?
3) Is it possible to fix the problem by just driving it on the street, hopefully shedding off the excess tire?

You're all good. Rubber worms just means you had a good time. However, if there are chunks missing from the tire, then that's something to worry about more than worms.
Get a heat gun and a scraper. We call the pick-up OPR "other people's rubber" Its very common when your tires get hot and you run over marbles.

I would never add heat to R compound tires for no reason. Just putting extra heat cycles into it.

Now that's hilarous

Now if the tires blistered you overdrove the tires. If you are talking about marbles/"boogers" on your tires. well it happens. If you are not use to rubber boogers getting picked up then you may be disturbed by the sound they make when pulling a good lateral load in a turn. Sometimes the rubber boogers make beating sounds on your car as they get slung off which sounds like parts falling off your car. I know my first time on r compounds after hearing some funky "beating sounds" I pulled into the pit to see what was broken. Just slung rubber boogers or OPR.

Yeah, I was thinking WTF the first time.
Yeah, I was thinking WTF the first time.
On a circle track car that I used to work on,
the Left Front tire, was rarely on the ground
but the boogers were warm enough to stick to it,
it was a pain in the butt to clean off. We didn't change that tire the entire season.
