Well I just got back from dynoing my car over in Orlando. I forgot the sheets there so my friend is bringing them home with him. I'll post them in a few days. My mods are bit a meer AEM CAI and a VAFC. Here's how it went (off memory)

base run - 167hp 119tq
run 7 - 175.7hp 120tq

then we messed with the timing and that screwed everything up. So after a final of 22 dyno runs we ended back (or close to) where we were on run 7

run 22 - 174.8hp ~120tq

What do you guys think? I was pleased with it all. I can't wait to free up my cat, and then get my cams and all the goodies that go with them. Later guys

Hybrid CTR - I paid $100 for the dyno time and had Angel tune my car and install my VAFC car for $150

FUSION ITR - sorry to hear that. I hope they were 2 great runs

MUGENR#1011 - yep, 22 runs this evening

S&P500ITR - Some place that starts with an S I think off of 417 around the OBT/Florida Turnpike Exit. This guy Rolo worked there, he ran the dyno and Angel tuned the car

SCOOTER - nope, US front. Do you know Kurt? supercharged R from up in Palm Harbor, he's a friend of mine.

Oh yeah, and last night my friend Adam and I went for rides in the 2 fastest Supra's I've ever seen. Adam himself has the sweetest BPU supra I've seen but I rode in this other guy Adam's T78 Supra, while Adam (my friend) rode in Jesus' T88 Supra. It was the most amazing thing I've ever experienced. The T78 was untuned and was expecting around 600rwhp... the T88 just recently dyno'd at ~830rwhp. It was awesome to say the least.

The honest truth I'm not quite sure how it all worked out. My friend Adam was dyno tuning his Supra, and I was going to just do a few runs with some of his time. I ended up doing alot more as you can see and the guy charged me seperate, but that's all he charged. I guess I just lucked out.

Yeah, the place is Sibony's speed shop. That's where I did some of my baseline runs. Rolo seems to be cool about the pricing as long as he knows you (personally or by referral). Nice numbers!

Yes me and Dustin (S&P500ITR) dynoed our cars there a few weeks back. I was having Rolo dyno my car now to see if the JDM FD does make any kind of difference. None at all! Oh well we got to see one of their drag cars get on the dyno! That was cool. Nice numbers by the way.

Exactly what I think too, some people with JUN or TODA cams, and get around the same number too.

 

Do you guys think that opening up my cat will help alot? I think I can get a hi-flow cat from my friend. I was going to get one sooner or later so I might as well, right?

 

I dont think I know Kurt, did he have his charger put on by John at LHT Performance? John is a good friend of mine and he did my supercharger a while back as well as all my other work.

Thanks for reminding me Seriously, after those cars EVERYTHING else seemed slow. We were sitting in traffic in his 800hp Supra next to a riced out lancer. The guy looked over and kinda made it seem like he had a chance. There were cars infront though so nothing happened. I just chuckled to myself. If you saw his car you'd never know there was 1000bhp there.

I'm not sure who did Kurt's car. I'll ask him sometime.

 

Are you comming to the dyno day, I think its in January.
The R's in our area should get together every now and then and go to Hooters or something.

Hooter's sounds like a great plan. Maybe sometime this week we can meet up. I'll talk to a few other people and see what's going on, then post something to get us all togeher

Right now there are at least 5 600+ supra in town, 3 of which are 700+, and one(Jesus) is 800+, not to mention our race car isn't done yet and that as well should be 800-900 off the bottle. That's what happens when you work at a Supra tuner Nice numbers on the R. Angel is a great tuner, can't wait to get my roomates 12.6:1 GSR out there to see if we can break the 200-210 mark.
