Default VAFC setting..

i have my VAFC set at -2cor at idle. i didnt tune it, a friend of mine did and before it was at +1cor (the first time he tuned it). all i have is a thermal axleback, and AEM CAI. is this a normal setting for a tuned VAFC? thanks

if you didnt 'tune' it on a dyno. you didnt tune it. your just adjusting stuff for hte sake of adjusting stuff. get it on a dyno w/ a wideband o2 and do it right. it'll cost ya about 100 bux but its worth it. i wouldnt be leaning a car out at idle btw.... just my thoughts.

Dont think it would happen I run a p72 from time to time and vtec comes on at 4600 on that. Runs fine other than the HUGE *** vteec lag I get.

depends on what they dyno tune it at. If untuned, I'd set it at about 4700rpm
