larger throttle body + modified intake mani?
I'm thinking of getting the skunk2 b18c5 intake mani as i have a b18c5 cylinder head on my 1994 Si. If im gonna make that change im guessing I will need a 62mm throttle body?
What if I want a 65mm TB or larger, do I need to bore the intake mani slightly to match the size of the TB bore? If not, whats the point of having a larger TB (bigger than 62mm) with a b18c5 intake mani??

65mm is direct bolt on. i believe 70mm you would need to bore out the mani.
bigger also gives out the sick *** wide open throttle growl sound.

what about for a 91 ls with everything stock cept for a cai,cat back, and strut bars
, whats the max tb size i can go to before i have to do any machine work?

you have a type r head, and you want a skunk2 mani? what kind do you have on there now? i hope you realize the skunk2 is a replica of the type r, with a few minor differences...

So are you saying you have a gsr manifold that is all hacked to **** so that it will fit on a pr3 head? Who the hell would ever do that? EVER? Thats like sleaving a 350 chevy to a 3.736 bore and making a 305 out of it. Kinda pointless.

are you sure you have a b18c5 head and not a b18c1?

Can't be 100% sure, the car was sold to me like this. The car revs to just over 8000rpm nicely. My car is not a GSR, it is a JDM Si VTEC and has the B18C block. I the fitting of the intake mani looks clean, no hacking or crackin
