im getting ready to take off my head to do some work to it........im going to get a new intake and throttle body since the head will be off and make a little easier for assembly....
im looking alot at the Edelbrock intake and maybe a the 70mm throttle body....
just wondering if there was any other intakes and throttle bodies i should look into before i make a purchase......
and maybe some insight on whether a sheetmetal intake like the STR etc....is more productive than one like the Edelbrock
any feed back is a appreciated

I guess it would all depend on how much power you want to make and where you want to make it. If it is a conservative setup, (i.e. around 300whp) then stock or just a Skunk 2 would work just fine. If you are going for the gold then I would look into the Edelbrock manifold.

the edelbrock is the one im really leaning toward.......
im not sure what throttle body size would be good.....65 or 70...
future plans are to turn boost up from 20 to about 30 with new turbo set up later......but at the moment im at 20
any more feedback is really appreciated.......thanks

How about the Rev-Hard manifold, I'm going to try one out soon. So far it looks pretty comperable to a Edelbrock manifold.
I personally would like to see the results on the Full Race manifold that should come out soon. The initial pictures looked interesting.

i was just reading today that a bigger throttle body, while making you "feel" faster will actually hurt you unless u are running a real high hp application..just my .02cents i dont know your situation

I hear so many different things about the edelbrock its rediculous. Some ppl say its the best really no matter what PSI you are running if you are boosted. Others say you shouldnt get it unless running High HP or going to rev more than 8k. Anyone REALLY know?
