Default ek center console and armrest in a eg

I saw a post on here not too long ago where the person put a ek lower center console and armrest in his car and he looked nice. I am trying to do that now, but I am having a few problems. Anyone know that post or his name or know how to do it themselves? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I doubt it, something needs to be trimmed I'm guessing. I was gonna do it.

if you have the full console including the frame of it, it can be done with very little mods

why not just get the JDM center console w/ armrest, and get the JDM audio console...theres a ton of them on ebay, and there isnt any trimming done there

you stilll dont get cup holders and the little pocket under the ebrake handle. btw a real "JDM" audio console has the wrong contours for the udsm dash. they have usdm audio consoles for us tho

The JDM ones on eBay don't sell for anymore thatn the USDM ones do. And dantastic is right. The JDM consoles are the exact reverse of the USDM one. The USDM one kinda curve out into the passenger side foot area a little while the JDM one curves into the driver side. Also the lighter and ash tray are flipped from one to the other.

Also, the so called JDM armrests are more than likely USDM. Why? Because there is no difference between the two and people just put JDM in the title to help it sell. The USDM armrests come with a singe cup holder just like the rest. Some armrest and audio consoles are infact JDM but for the most part they are USDM on eBay.

Both the audio console and armrest can still be bought at your local dealership. It's going to cost almost the same as buying it from eBay because by the time you ay for shipping and the final cost of the item you could have bought it for the same or slightly more at the dealer.

Do you have a part number because I went to the dealer to try and order the usdm audio console and the guy had never even heard of it even though my buddies 95 has one. I think it may be a discontinued part. If you could find the part number for me i would be very greatful cause i've been trying to tell this guy at honda that there was an audio console made for the eg's but he refuses to agree. also can the power folding side mirror kit be purchased thru the dealer or is that a jdm only part?

yep, here you go.

Black Audio Console - 08U60-SR0-112A
Black Armest Console - 08U89-SR0-110A

Tell him he has to look in the Interior Accessories catagory to find it. But just have him look up the part numbers above and they'll pop up.

For the power folding mirrors you have to go to a JDM importer like JDMShit, JDMLand or PasswordJDM. Those are a few sites that I have seen carry them. If they have any in stock is unknown. Also try eBay, they do have them from time to time. Whatever you do though, make sure you get the mirrors, harness and switch.

edit:
Just looked on JDMLand and they have a 92-95 Civic power folding mirror kit complete for $199. Just look under Used JDM Parts and then under Civic EG6.

ok called the honda wholesaler with the part number you gave me and they finally found it. I went ahead and ordered it. Twas about $100 with my discount. Once again thanx cause i've been having some issues trying to find this for a while. I see them on ebay all the time but by the time you pay shipping and everything it's about $130 so I saved damn near 30 bucks. Plus I know it's genuine honda brand new and don't have to worry about my shipment getting lost since the one's on ebay mostly come from asia somewhere.

I don't mean to come off rude or anything, so thanks for not taking it that way. I just didn't want to see people being told things that weren't true. See, some people on here take what people say as the truth without much question. So they'll go buy something based on what they are told on here. I just don't what people thinking that all the ones on eBay are JDM or armrests with cloth are JDM.
