Default whats up...forced induction gurus please help me out

whats good. i got a 2001 gsr with 36,000 miles on it. i was gonna go supercharger...but i think id be a lot more satisfied with a turbo setup. im planning on building my own custom kit. my goal is 300whp with expandibility options.
heres what im thinking so far

-je 9.5.1 pistons
-crower rods
-hondata lower compression head gasket
-turbonetics t3/t40e hybrid turbo
-drag aluminum intercooler piping
-hks ssqv blow off valve
-tial 38mm wastegate
-sfp tubular manifold
-spearco intercooler
-apexi power fc
-blitz gauges in an autometer a pillar gauge cluster
-rc 440 cc injectors
-walboro 255 lph fuel pump
-samco silicone connection hoses
-turbonetics 2.5" downpipe

hows that setup sound for my goal of 300 hp at a decently safe psi? is building up the motor an absolute neccesisty to hit 250-275 whp? if you could help me out with a list of anything ive missed such as oil lines etc id really appreciate it. contradicting opinions are welcomed...please help me out.

Looks like a good list. You can acheive your power goal if tuned correctly.

You don't really need rods and pistons up to about 300WHP and if you have a good tune. There are some 350WHP beasts that still have stock internals. The thing is even one hint of detonation and the motor would probably blow at those HP levels. Remember the amount of PSI usually is not the factor in reliability it's the tune and total HP made. None the less good setup! Copy and paste this to the FI forum and you'll get some more responses!

if you are looking for 300whp id just leave your motor the way it is. ive seen PLENTY of stock GSR motors out there running 300whp turboed. buy a good turbo system and use the rest for a good tune.

tuning is where youll get the most SAFEST setup. id be worried about tunning the car then getting new internals.

TUNE TUNE TUNE TUNE!

if you got the money and want a kit. A well tuned full-race kit on a gsr will yield 300 whp easily.
