The Honda brake pedal squeak, where do I put the lube? :)

(Good title to get responses I figured, lol)

Driving my Civic today I thought, "geeze that little squeak from the pedal when you let off the brakes if annoying" which was followed by "why the hell havent I posted on HT to see how to fix it?"

So I am. (I searched first just now)

I swear my 90' 4-door did it just the same. Where does it come from? Inside the passenger cabin? Outside? (Sounds like outside) Help! Thanks!

Just like a door your brake pedal also has a hinge or pivot point, that's where you need to lube.

where? is that pivot/hinge...

Try looking under the dash where the pedals are mounted...
