RSX S OR PRELUDE
I BEEN SAVING TO BUY A NEW CAR (RIGHT NOW I AM DRIVING MY MOMS 89 OLDS- PLEASE FEEL SORRY FOR ME) WOULD YOU GUYS RECOMMEND GETING A RSX S OR A 5TH GEN LUDE. I LIKE THE LOOK OF A LUDE MORE HOWEVER I HAVE BEEN READING THAT FINDING GOOD PARTS FOR THE LUDE THAT WORK WELL TOGETHER IS HARD/ ALSO THAT GETTING 200WHP IS TOUGH TO DO ON A NA LUDE WITHOUT RAISING REDLINE AND/OR SHORTENING ENGINE LIFE. WHAT CAR SHOULD I BUY? OR SHOULD I GET NEITHER OF THE TWO. I THINK RSX'S ARE GOOD BUT I AM NOT REALY FEELING THE STYLING. ALSO HOW DOES THE RSX MOTOR TAKE HP DOES IT ALSO GET A LIFE SHORTENING PROCESS? PLEASE GIVE ME ALL THE INFO YOU KNOW. THANKS

I say test drive both and decide.
Everyone has their own opinion. I would personally go with the RSX because resale is higher... but if you are planning to mod then that doesnt matter unless you replace stock parts.

i think the RSX is a safer bet, ****, especially if the choice is between a new RSX or a used prelude. I would prefer to own a new car over anything, just so i can be the person who breaks the car in correctly. A used Honda Prelude, although a nice car, could have been driven by any ******* and you never know if its been beaten up. I say RSX, its a better car, and the aftermarket selection of parts for it is so vast, i dont think you will find trouble mixing and matching parts for it.

more seriously, how about deciding for yourself? it sounds like you may be quite young, so you may want to consider a beater now, until you can determine what car fits you best.
