Will 14" steelies fit over 99si front brakes?
Just like the title sez will it work? I know my old hx wheels wouldn't fit. I don't have a set of steelies here or I would try them out. Someone who has tried it let me know.....

They also absorb bumps/potholes better.

Front brakes? If I remember correctly, they are.

YES.
99-00 Si and 96-00 Civic EX models have the SAME FRONT BRAKES.
Therefore, the wheels will fit, and I can verify this with my Helm's book, and my friend tried it.
These steelies will go on any 94-01 Integra non-R model (Yes the GSR too people). Cause 94-01 Non-R integras have the SAME FRONT brakes as the 99-00 Si/EX civic with the change being the calipers have a 57mm piston intsted and brake lines are not identical.

14' stocks will fit over 99-00si brakes. the reason your hx's did not fit is due to the design of the spokes. people that have fitted hx's on 99-00si brakes have shaved down their calipers to fit the wheel.

Actually it is not the design of the spoke but the design of the caliper.
