Default b16 No sparkerrrr not the norm question.

I have no spark comming from the coil. I just had the coil replaced. But the old coil is good still we checked it out. The car turns over but it does not start. I have good grounds, check them all. Im outa idea's any thoughts would help!

I am also running obd1 and I have my toggle switch hooked up so I can check code's but the engine light just stays on and I can't get it to go off so I can not check my code's. So if you know how to shut off the light please tell lol.

sounds like the problem i had. did you switch the harness connectors over to the obd1 connectors, if so make sure they are making good contact with all the wires, this problem had my car down for a LONG time just because a few wires weren't making good connection within the distributor plug.

yeah, did you do the obd1 conversion yourself? if you did, and you used the obd1 distributor connectors on the crx engine harness you will see that the rubber gaskets around each wire are alot thicker than the obd1 plugs can hold. so you will literarlly have to force them into it, or cut the rubber gasket thats around them and find something else that can keep the moisture out. i know i had a hard time getting them in there and it wasn't untill someone literally pushed on all the wires super hard to make the car even start. some of the most little things can boggle me for so long. next time ill just make sure to bring out the multimeter if i have a problem again.

I check everything with a meter already everything else is working and I can't get any spark out of the coil. But when the coil is in a different distributer it works fine. The car cranks but no spark doesn't start
