oil leak at PCV black box: how do i fix it?
i have a very rapid oil leak (about a quart every hundred miles) coming from the black box on the back of the block.
it is completly bolted in correctly so i dont know why it started leaking, and i dont know how to fix it.
can i remove it completely and cap the hole somehow, i was planning on doing a catch can soon but if i can somehow remove the entire PCV system it would help me at the moment, please lmk if anyone has had this problem. thanks

Remove the box and replace the gasket.

its leaking from the large hole that the breather box goes into
ill get a new gasket for it, what a pain in the *** it ill be to change that, can anyone confirm that i have to remove the intake manifold and the black support bracket to remove the breather box? thanks

on my old motor i had the same problem with the o-ring leaking.
i didnt have the intake manifold support on their anymore so it was kinda painless taking it out.
im pretty sure its 3 bolts, and the lower one is also for the header support.
also make sure the 2 grommets on top of the pcv box arent leaking either. they get hard over time and dont seel (sp?)
just budget an hour or so from time you drive the car into the garage, jack it up then get it all finished.

thanks, i am looking into the endyne breather kit, i will knock it all out at once.
ill try to do how-to on the process, with pics.
the gasket probibly failed from too much crankcase pressure as it is, the stock system is apparently insuffient for a modified motor.
sucks though, i bought a case of oil tonight to keep up with the leak.
