Black box on block?
on my block there is a Big Black box on the back of the block(intake Side) and i dont know wut the hek it is. its a black box with 2 rubber tubes coming out of it and its covered in a ruber box.... one of the tubes connects to the lock.. im assuming it has something to do with the coolant.. but i dont know wut it is.. ne one know?

he is talking about the one attached to the block not the

no its not. It is an oil "catch can" /breather. It collects oil that makes its way by the PCV valve. Its there to vent the crankcase.

yeah, its connected up to the pcv valve and then up to the intake manifold. the vacuum from the IM pulls out all the air/vapor mixture from underneith your pistons so that you dont have blow-by and unseat your rings on the decompression stroke.
