Default clunking sound - bushes?

I couple of days ago my car slid into the curb with my wheels locked the other way (so my alloy hit the curb head on).. the car was travlling at about 7mph at point of impact. I didn't notice any damage and it drove okay for two days.

Now I hear a clunking sound coming from the wheel that hit the curb, usually when i come off the accelerator or when i press down on the clutch. Steering feels odd too.

My friend thinks it's the bushes around the wishbone which need replacing.

Anyone have any ideas? How can I test to see whats gone wrong?

Thanks.

You could have bent something completely. That could be the sound of the axle rubbing on something. Check your CV joints.

most likely

1. alignment
2. wheel bearing
3. control arms off a lil bit
