Loud knocking noise from passenger wheel well.?
ok just as the title stats... there is this clink-clank noise from the passenger side wheel well when I drive on bumpy surfaces. The road whould have to be brand newly paved smooth to not hear the noise. Sounds alot like something is not bolted tight enough and loose, a clink and clank knocking sound.
anyways, i assumed it was the axle.. so I replaced that... still makes that noise. My friend said it could be loose breaks or it could be my steering knuckle.
anyone out there got any insight on this... I need to isolate the problem.. thanks guys.

Probably a suspension piece. Maybe a balljoint. There's only 10,000 possibilities based on the discription you gave us.

I will bet you 50 bucks it is your upper strut mount.
leave the car on the ground and tighten the strut bolt. If not, your strut is blown.

hmmm... that might be it.. my brother told me his friend had the same problem and it was a loose strut bolt. I'm gonna have to check that after work.. hopefully it isn't a blown strut.
