Default curb bite/rash?

Today was a sad day for my car. All I was trying to do was order some food at the drive through and some lady walks out of the building and starts yelling "YEAH DOUBLE DECKER TACOS! WOO HOO!" so and and so forth, making it impossible to hear anything. Being aggrivated that someone would do that at her age (at least 30), I tried to ask her what her problem was and got ignored. Obviously miffed, I got distracted and turned just a little too soon in the drive through and hit the curb with my back driver side wheel. The damage isnt too bad but its enough to make any car lover and or perfectionist cringe. Does anyone know if it is possible to remove or lessen curb rash and if so, how? This is going to sound stupid, but I couldnt figure out how to post up a pic, so as soon as someone tells me how, I can let you all see how bad the damage is. Thanks for your help all.

If the wheels are polished you can cut and buff them out. If they are colored or chrome then there is not much you can do.

just get a low grit sandpaper, and sand then take a higher grit sandpaper (like 300 grit) and prgessively sand until the surface smooths and goes flush with the rest of the wheel.

Thanks very much for your guys' input. If anyone else has any other ideas or comments, please post em up. If someone can tell me how to post a pic I will show you guys what it looks like. Not too bad, just a bit along the outside edge of the rim. They are silvers, so I'm thinking that I will have to try the sand and polish method. What type of polish do you guys suggest though? I have some Mothers chrome polish, but I don't know if that will do the trick or not. Thanks again.

Click the image button, insert the URL for the pic (where the picture is being hosted from) and then click the img button again. Voila!

Hmm, I've never had size of the picture be an issue. Make sure whatever site you're hosting them from works.

Or you can always just insert a link to wherever your picture are.

What I did was inserted the location of the pics on my hard drive. ie:

[img][/img] (image name/location on HD as shown below between the two "image" HTML scriptings)

C:\DocumentsandSettings\Brian1\MyDocuments\MyPictu res\ASadDay\pa070030

guess thats not the right way to do it though, funny, I fix computers all day long but I can't figure out how to post a picture. Kind of ironic... Anyhow, I will keep trying to figure it out I guess, unless someone can "show" me how to do it.
