bent valves....should pistons be replaced?

Default bent valves....should pistons be replaced?

have any of you ever bent some velves and not had to replace the pistons? cuz im thinkin of buyin a motor with bent intake valves. i dont mind replacing the valves, but i dont wanna have to replace the pistons. seller states that the valves arent that bent. thanks for the info.

It depends if there is any damage to the pistons. If there is no damage to the pistons, I dont see why it would be a problem.

Yeah, I think I just had a brain fart. The dude that had my car before me fucked up the pistons in a weird way, yet the valves are fine. (skipped like 3 teeth)

If the pistons have little dings in them you can get at them with a 3M pad (depending on how bad the dings are). I would change the rod bearings also.

Personally I wouldn't buy the motor unless the head was taken off so you could see the damage.
