Default Air Fuel Gauge - Possible to Wire Directly to ECU?

just wanted to know if it's possible to wire an autometer air/fuel gauge directly to the ecu, versus the o2 sensor? if it is, would you get accurate readings?

Yes u can. Just splice into the o2 wire at the ecu connection. It is just same wire just that it is inside the car instead of outside and near the o2 sensor.

I don't think it is more accurate if not a little off.

ok, great. i figured it would possibly function the same as say a vafc. also, what color is the o2 wire anyways at the ecu location? this is on an obd1 vehicle.

Its the thick white wire. Its way thicker than any of the rest of the wires and so easy to find.
