I just need some things confirmed, oil chantes...5.1 quarts is what the book says, this correct??? are the 00-03 and 04-05 air boxes the same?? want to buy the comptech airfilter and it says fits stock air box, but I dont know if it fits 04... also is it ok to switch to higher quality diff. lubricant after 3000 miles??

Yes, 5.1 quarts of oil.

The air filter should fit any 00-05 air box.

What do you mean by "higher quality" diff. fluid? There really isn't any needs to switch diff. fluid. Some aftermarket brands will cause premature wear and be required to change more often than OEM fluid. IMO, just stick w. OEM Honda diff. fluid.

 

the oil is exactly whats is said in the manual or where you read it. as far as the air box i think i saw and ARC box for the s2000. It look sick. the best oil i think is the one form the honda dealer at least for the tranny.

 

I just changed my diff and tranny fluid all to redline I like it a lot. I dont have that notchy feeling in the morning when the tranny is cold, and at high rpm shifts the gears just glide in !!!!!!!!!!!

By the way tranny oil is redline MTL
diff. oil is redline 75w-90
