Its to dark for me to work on the car for now so i thought i would ask all of you for any thing to look for, try, or replace.
I just put on a B&M FPR and now the car will not start.
My fuel gauge showed only at 20 which stock is 40 so i put it at 40 and try to start the car and it fall to 20?
Then it hit me that i couldn't hear my fuel pump. so you would think o well your 13 year old fuel pump just went out but i just replaced it last week with a walbro and it worked great.
So i was wanting to know what this could be?
also where are my fuel relays could they go bad?

well i check the fule relay and thats not it so

what do i do now just drop the tank and jack off
cuz it pissin me off

 

Oh its running. Just so happens it is running like ****. But that's ok I have some parts on the way and the motor is coming back out for a lil while. Ill be ready for you in a couple of months chris. We are going to run this town with the d-series!

u try to check fuses???

or the main relay???

if not I would try to send direct power to the pump it's self to see if it will work

these are simple things to think of instead of talking trash to the members on here u are speaking of

a great way to make friends though

fuses checked all fuses under kick panale and hood - are there any others?
main relay checked and replaced

direct power ---- so run a wire from the + side of the battery to the fule pump and run a wire from the - to the other side ?????? is that what you are talking aboult -or is there a better way?

i just ran direct power to the pump and after gas flow all up in my face and all over me i see that it work so correct me if i am wrong but now its down to one of these

wires some where


fuse some where i will go check them agin

do u gots a omn meter???

this would help u as know we know it is a wiring or electrical problem

 

main relay is under the dash behind the coin change box on the left side....check if its working.
