where do you find the code on the tranny?

there should be a white sticker with barcode around the bell housing of the tranny. just above where the vin plate is located in other words just above to the left of the block stamp.

my sticker was like a reflective aluminum color but i accidently wiped out whatever it said with brake cleaner a long time ago.

is that the only spot where they put the code? on a sticker ?

the brake cleaner cleaned my sticker off, cleaned the ink off too, now its just a plain clean sticker.

there is no other way to find out ?

what motor and car(chassis) do you own? did you do a swap and not know or remember what tranny came with it?
