Default milage question

currently i have 110 thousand miles on my 96 ls integra. im debating on weather or not to purchase a turbonetics t3/t4 kit but due to the high milage of my car. do you think it would be worth it for me to get the turbo or perhaps instead buy a gsr engine with lower miles instead. any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you add the turbo then you will reduce the life of the engine no mater how fresh it is. You will have more of a power gain with a fresh motor. If it was me I would put the turbo on a motor I had. That way if something went wrong I wouldn't be buying a third motor. 110k miles isn't that much for an Integra.

Most likely not a good idea. Your engine has gotten used to the compression and wear pattern in its current form. If you decide to boost it, the areas that have been worn will become quite bad and will most likely fail in a violent and spectacular manner. (It happened to my Ford Crown Vic. when I put a supercharger on it at 90xxx)
