Default how thin is too thin (exhaust manifold flange?)

big headaches right now...

i bought a turbo manifold from a fellow TI'er.

the flange mounting to the block is bowed, not warped like a potato chip. anyhow the flange is 3/8" thick and the bow is about 1/8 at the middle (around the inner two runners).

I'm gonna have it milled. so i wanna so low thin can it be; such that it wont cause more warping?

this manifold has been a headache... when i first got it (used)... it was crack at the welds... the guy offered to reweld it, which was cool... but i found a local guy that did it for cheap... (not wanting to fuss with shipping and all)... then i find this warping... the other thing one of the threaded holes is stripped. ... and lastly... the wg doesn't completely cover my 38mm tial wg. I've got a leak there too...

anyway... thanks for any help...
