As the topic says, say im going to tune my own ecu with uberdata and doing all the right things with injectors (450 dsm) and getting wideband o2 sensor, now how do i use it.. say im running lean, and want to make it rich, do i adjust the wideband o2 sensor or do i adjust more rich conditions in uberdata.. if so how do i do that? thanks all help is appreciated you turbo gurus

 

You adjust your Fuel map. You can't adjust fuel with a wideband, all that does it read the mixture. Take it somewhere and let them do it first. THen play with it.

Hit up the Uberdata forums. There is lots of good info there. You will need to make a basemap and tune from there. Go to the uber forums like I said and you will see.

You can tune it yourself if you have a wideband...

Just do a lot of research before you do, and make sure you know how to adjust the maps in uberdata...

If you have a good basemap and slowly build up to full boost tuning bit by bit making sure your a/f ratios are good... you should be golden...

Just make sure you know how to use the software and the burner etc... datalogging is really the way to go if you want to install a logging cable into your ecu. That way you can see your ratios after a pull and adjust accordingly...

Read Keebler's write up on uberdata tuning, you can find it in the uberdata forum, that should get you going... good luck

I'm going to have to agree with this guy at this point. If you are asking how to use a WB to tune your car, than its obvious you don't know anything about tuning a car's ECU and should should not start making ECU maps to test and run on your motor to learn how to tune. Do a lot more research and reading up on the Uberdata forum, Hondata Website/Forum, and AEM forums to understand what goes into tuning a car via ECU modification.

Not mean - just realistic. We all would hate to see an enthusiast blow up there motor and from your post, it seems you would.

Do you actually have the means to make changes to Uberdata - a laptop, burner, etc...?

 

if you have to ask that, i reccomend not trying to do the tuning yourself.
