o2 sensor voltage at WOT
Does anybody know what the o2 voltage should be at WOT in my mighty sohc vtec?
I installed 450cc injectors and tuned my afc -35% and i think my a/f (pos autometer) is giving me wierd answers. Right now its around .90 volts at WOT which i think is rich but my a/f gauge shows dead lean. The car seems to run pretty good although im being really easy as i dont want to blow it up. Idle is nice and smooth.
If i tune my AFC to -20% the stupid a/f still shows super lean but the car barly idles and runs pretty ruff. The o2 voltage shows .95 -> .96 which im pretty sure is super super rich.
Any ideas on my fuel problem?
thanks,
liam

O2 voltage is gonna vary depending on what the sensor is reading in the car (rich/lean). Shouldn't be affected by your AFC, at least not directly. Your MAP is what's manipulated by the AFC
although o2 voltage does very by what the AFC does. The richer the car runs, the higher the o2 voltage.
Checkout this chart..
You notice as the o2 voltage increases, as does the flashy lights. Im reading .90 volts but the gauge is reading dead lean. So either my volt meter is reading wrong (unlikely) or the guage is broke...which is much more likely.
Im guessing i want to tune my car to around .92 volts which is somewhat rich but should be good for turbo.

You should shoot for between .88-.91 which is approxiametly 11:1~12.5:1. I am running about .90 right now...12psi, stock block no pinging.
