Well...I threw the AFC hack on my car before I get the turbo installed...and i'm glad I did!!!!
My old setup was:
Stock Injectors, Tuned AFC 13.5:1 at full throttle, Fuel Pressure ~40psi with the hose off, 19 degrees BTDC (for N/A of course)
Threw in the DSM 450's and AFC hack (-40 to 4k, -35 >4k)
At 19 degrees BTDC the car detonated a good bit, so I turned the dizzy back to 14 degrees BTDC. Car doesn't detonate under high RPM's, but still detonates at low RPM (2-3k) with a good bit of throttle. What can I do to cure this? Should I adjust my hack settings, turn up the fuel pressure, or retard the dizzy some more? I'm trying to get the problems ironed out before the turbo goes on.
Thanks for the help in advance!!!

try -37 from 1-3.4k
-35 from 4k-6k and
-33 from 6.5k +
i have it like that and i osuh 9 psi daily and no detonation
IMO u have too much ignition timing under low rpms... its very hard to detonate on N/A motors
put ur Dizzy at 16 Deg BTDC
and go from there

Are the injectors recently rebuilt and flow-tested? If you just snagged them off of some car, one or more of them could be operating at less than optimum.

They are not rebuilt...it's something i'll have to look into.
Also, my compression is 10:1 and my compression was 210-215 across the board with the old setup.

I'd get those injectors cleaned and tested first. I ran 10psi on the hack. I had brand new rc440's and my igntion timing was a tooth retarded. Needless to say it ran like **** even after i fixed the timing problem. If u have the money like i was telling u the other day I would upgrade from the hack. I really hated it. My first setup i hd a fmu, 310's, safc, missing link, walbro 255lph intank. Had it tuned by inlinepro and it ran so much better than the shitty hack.
It ran a 13.8 1/4 @ ~10psi @ 194whp (rear gutted coupe). Give me a call when u put ur turbo kit together. I might be able to come by and help u out.

damn since when are you getting a turbo bauley? I would get your injectors checked. Also throw a 255lph walbro pump in there. My car was either detonating or misfiring in high rpms under boost without one. I think it was missfiring because my plugs didn't have any white on them.
edit: are you gonna stick with the 1.5l block or upgrade to a 1.6?

What octane are you running? Maybe you want to step up your gas. Worked for me when I was running the hack NA. When I ran 89 I had clear detonation (could hear the marbles rattling well) and then I switched to 91 (yah, cali sucks) and no detonation could be heard.
You might want to richen it up if you can at wot.

Interesting. I'm sticking with the 1.5 for now and keeping it safe at 5.5 psi.

Yeah, i'm on 93 octane with a 10.1:1 CR. So the only higher I can go is 104, which I will NOT pay $4.12 a gallon for

Zero lbs. This is so I can work out the AFC hack detonation problems BEFORE the motor sees boost.

It's true...10psi on a stock Y7 is no joke

That's going to be a problem. 5.5 psi is not safe on the AFC hack.
Using the search function with the keywords "afc hack" and "ignition" never fail to bring up this choice link:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=841443
Perusing that link, and the pretty pictures found therein, will explain to you why you are detonating in NA trim.
Truthfully, it's no harder to detonate NA than it is FI, despite conjecture otherwise. The cold, hard truth of the matter is the average NA Honduh owner can't hear anything over their stupid bumblebee exhaust.

I get it
Looking at your fuel map flooring it at 1500 RPM gives me 26 degrees of advance when I should be getting 14 according to the stock map...thanks man
