Water in engine
I was driving during a bad rain storm and sucked up water through my cold air intake in my 95 GSR. Now whenever I try to start the engine, it won't even turn over. How should I go about getting this fixed?
Is the starter trying but the engine's locked up? (You'll feel a good 'klunk' when the starter engages.) Then take out all 4 spark plugs & try. That lets the water out thru the spark plug holes. Then measure compression, because there's a fair chance of serious damage.
Is the starter not even trying? Look for corroded or loose connections at all the big cables. Then check for battery voltage at the small start-signal wire at the starter when you turn the key to 'start'.

first, the spark plug trick is right after you do it to get any water out, second.........stop trying to start it, this will only damage more!! you most likely bent some valves, and at worst you could have bent a rod. Hydrolocking your car is shitty, i did it to my first car. They are right about popping your spark plug, but you'l just be spraying excess water(wich is good) but if you can turn it over listen to it, but my advise would be to get inside the motor and look at your valves and such.
