I can vouch for the Hondata IM gaskets being of a very high heat resistant material. On a road race motor with no coolant for at least 2 hard laps the only visible damage was that the intake manifold branded the IM gasket. It maintained its form and showed no signs of melting

Our shop worked on a car with a Brand X (we dont know what brand) IM gasket and that thing looked like melted wax after the car overheated. The radiator busted and with no coolant engine temperatures skyrocketed.

From my expriance you have to retorque the gasket every couple of weeks. It gets loose and will create a vacume leak.

In my opinion

it's a intake manifold gasket, not head gasket. the head gasket is between the block and the head and the intake manifold gasket is between intake manifold and the head.
