Default will abs axles from a crx sir work for a b16 swap?

I remember reading somewhere that the abs axles would not work... could you let me know if they'll work for a b16 swap into my crx?

No they will not , alb (abs) axle length is different from non-alb. I'm 100% sure
You can however use the SiR's (or ITR if you can find them) inner joints/ axles and combine them with non-alb outer joints/axles

an ABS outer would work on a non abs...it is the other way around that wouldn't. Since those cars have no ABS gear the teeth don't bite into anything. I have and abs outer cv in my 91 civic and I don't have ABS...

B-serie axles are very different from D-serie's..

I recently looked into overhauled axles for my 1991 SiR (saves me 60% with new Honda's!!) and the catalogue clearly showed ALB and non-ALB axles. The reseller showed me alb axle won't fit into the bearing assembly/ hub..

First of all, clarity speaks volumes!

My hybrid is swapped. I know those axles inside and out because I have replaced them too many times. I know because I have done it. I have built my own axle set-ups. I have done the research. You want to talk to someone. Look up this site http://www.raxles.com or http://www.hasport.com, know your stuff and remember we are in the US things work differently here as far as H's go... The only reason I replied was because you were wrong I don't want to make a thing of it...but I have done it...I have even bought custom axles that had the gear-teeth on them and used them without worry, vibration, or headaches...

D series can't be used in a swap, but they aren't any different in concept than any other honda half shaft. So if an abs axle worked in a d series it would do so in any other car. Eh?

D series isn't SIR, you know this, but your car was probably factory prepped (netherlands?). Well we dont have that luxury so we get to make our own or buy them from someone that custom makes them. ABS has nothing to do with anything if you don't have it. I know, I have an abs outerjoints in my 1991 civic hatch that has a b16 in it. I am sure that car doesn't have abs, because I built it!

By the way, you have to use B series axles on a B swapped hybrid. The inner cup length is what matters most. I have a load of 86-89 teg axles and 90-93 I used to make my setups before I went with HD's. With the jdm intermediate shaft I had to use a 86-89 teg axle on the driver side. on the pass I had to use a 86-89 shaft & outer and a 90-93 inner cup. As far as bearings go, it will still work the only thing is I have removed the ring spacer on the knuckle. Check it http://www.hasport.com
