Prefered brake pads
I have Brembo cross-drilled rotors on the front ( I know, I got them by mistake), and Power-slot slotted rotors in the back. I am using EBC green-stuff pads, and all my friends cringed when I mentioned them. Would you recomend specific pads for these rotors. Also, the car is a daily driver, so no race pads. Thanks guys and girls.
I run PBR metal master which are the same as Axiis metal master on exactly the same rotors as you have, and find them to be an excellent long lasting good performing pad for everyday use, and hard road driving when required. The pads are very low dusting excellent performing in all conditions, and I am sure you would be as pleased with them. They give superior performance where I live in the Scottish Highlands on the twisty up and down mountain roads in all weather.
i had endless vn8500s , they take a couple mins to warm up but once theyre at temp tehy grip like mad.. but they are a bit pricey
right now i have hawk pads, they are pretty good for street i guese, low brake dust , but dont grip as well as the endless

I had ebc greens for autoX. They are great until they get hot. They are kevlar/organic so they work well for street and autoX where the brakes are relatively cool. I completely fried them at the track though, and they get worse the hotter they get. Now I use autozone carbon metallic (I forget the actual manufacturer's name). They are kinda the opposite. They are average I would say for autoX/street, but on the track they grip better as they get hot. Way more reassuring I can tell you. Oh, lifetime warranty too...
Oh, and I have cooked my share of OEM pads too. They are not bad, but they are still organic and won't stand up to track use very well. Serious fade by the end of a 20minute session.

I used Hawk pads in my WRX with slotted and drilled rotors and they worked excellent; not too much dust, low noise and great stopping power.
On the prelude I am currently using Axxis ultimates on the OEM rotors and they stop great, but they deposit alot of dust onto the rims and are quite noisy.

i don't expect normal brake pads to be able to stand up to 20 min run sessions on a track, i don't even expect some high perf pads to be able to stand it. case in point, i toasted my cobalt friction GT-Sports at willow springs, and they're great pads, but the operating temps just got too high from continuous braking and they were on fire by the end of the run group (literally on fire).

I've never dared to try EBC after loads of bad comments from other users, after so many pull downs you get to thinking "All those people can't be wrong" as they have no personal beef with EBC. The OEM pads I recently replaced were good although they have some organic in their compound and like the more sedate use better, but I found the PBR/Axiis even better if that's any use to you in making your mind up.
Well right now it's just the extreemely loud squealing. I did have some other odd noises such as a clicking and a crunching; however, all I did was took the pads off, gave them a scrub down to ensure they were perfectly flat, put them back on and made sure to give them a proper bedding in. Now I am down to just a squeal- hoping to get rid of that soon, though.
I have to dig up the pics but I completely fried my OEM pads. I checked them before the track day and they had lots of meat. I drove home with the wear indicators squeeling and the next day I think what little pad material was left just came loose and I had to use a lot of planning and the emergency brake to save my front rotors from getting Fuxored.
Now I use the $47 Performance Friction Carbon Metalic lifetime warranty pads from Autozone on the front. I put them through a couple of track days and they hold up great. They get better when they heat up and survive 20 minute sessions where my Azenis can't.

I tried the green stuff pads. Didn't like them. They only lasted about 20-25k miles... not worth the $90. I now use Autozone carbon metallic pads as well and found them to be better than the EBC's where. Plus as an added bonus you never had to buy the pads again. Lifetime warranty. when they wear out you bring them in and they give you a new set free of charge..
AEM pads have great initial bite, and hold up to heat fairly well. Not exactly your track pad, but a good aggresive street pad. You push AEM pads too hard they will fade.
the carbon metallics are really just a long life pad, imo, they suck at initial bite, but hold heat very well. I have yet to over heat a pair no matter how hard i beat them.
quite honestly, I suggest you just use those pads till it time for new ones, then switch. No point in switchin just cuz your friends "cringe", unless of course they will pay for it,
