V tec misfiring with new ecu, helpppp
i have a jdm itr ecu on my 98 gsr motor, and i tried putting a stock gsr p72 ecu today and i took off both terminals from the battery for like 5 minutes and plugged in the new ecu and drove it and when V TEC was supposed to engage my car started misfiring.......what am i doing wrong, IF ITS ME....thanks

hm.. no CEL's right? it might just be the ECU youre using.. try borrowing or gettin another GSR ecu. if no codes are coming up, it's 90% ECU mapping related.

lol no 4 cel's are coming up........o2 sensor, knock sensor, iacv, and ELD
