I just installed a zex kit on my car and everytime i start it up it gives me this...clicking noise kinda....Whenever i use a portable jumpstart...no problems. I know its not the battery for sure...Could it be my alternator??

clicking means low battery, its probably your battery not holding charge. its not the alternator because the car will jump start, if it was the alternator right after you took the jumper cables off the car would die. check the gounding wires also

look at the battery and see if any of the connectors are dirty or if any other cables coming off of them are dirty

It's your battery, replace it.

battery. another simple test for the battery is to turn on your headlights, when you look into them do they seem ALOT dimmer than they would if your car was on? if so, replace the battery or put it on a trickle charger over night.
